ABOUT THE PRODUCT
The Sound Devices 552 Field Mixer is a 5 channel mixer with a built in 2 channel recorder.
Key Features:
Inputs – Each of the 5 inputs is transfomer balanced with gain control, limiter, sweepable high pass filter and can be PFL’ed
Outputs – The 552 has multiple analog balanced outputs from the TA3 connectors, Hirose 10 pin connector and the XLR connects. It also has the ability to output 4 channels of AES from the XLR or Hirose 10 pin connector.
Recording – Records 2 channels of either uncompressed broadcast WAV files or compressed MP3 files.

Pickup procedures
Pickup time is Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-4:30 pm the day before your rental starts. Rental needs to be returned by 10 am the day after your rental. For after business hours or weekend returns, we have a secure lockbox. We will provide you with a custom code to access the lockbox. If your rental requires prep time in the VPS Shop, please schedule time when booking your equipment.
